My cheap camera is the Diana Mini. I love working with the Diana Mini because it is tiny, easy to handle, not complicated and can produce wonderful results. I also love that it is square format and has the option of shooting in half frames. It's a camera that I want to play and be creative with. It loves the sun so it's perfect for the all year California sunshine.
There was a time, about 4 years ago, that I just stopped and said to myself that photography is not just a hobby. It is more of a passion. I feel happy and full of confidence when I am holding a camera and looking through the viewfinder. I guess that this feeling of bliss made me decide to devote time, energy and my heart to this.
I love cameras but I believe that it is not about the camera when it comes to producing good photos. It does not matter if you have a cheap or expensive or even just one camera you can use. The key is to shoot, learn, practice. Photography is an unending education that is sometimes frustrating but mostly exciting. So just shoot.
