Most of time I use various analog cameras such as my Lomography LC-A+ , Olympus XA, as well as my NIKON FE2.
I’d like to use Fuji PROVIA 100F, Sensia 100, Kodak E100VS doing cross processing and LomoRedscale, Chrome Purple XR films, etc.
Well, using a cheap camera as you know is very limiting in terms of how it operates and based on this reason one can be more focused on how to create the magical image in my mind... which of course is a good thing! I like multi-exposure or film swap photography. You can try and experiment on your cheap cameras in many different ways. The result will mostly likely surprised you all the time!
I was a guitarist for an underground band. Naturally, things related to arts are my fondest interest. That might be one of the greatest things that influenced me as a photographer. Strictly speaking, it was when I started to be fully devoted to film photography that lead me to really entering the gate of photography. It was around three years ago when I first got an old lens adapted to a digital camera. I had a chance of purchasing my first second hand film camera "NIKON FE". I became more and more aware of the details of composition and exposure control. After all, there's only 36 pieces of film, and each shutter is so precious to me!
An artisan must first sharpen his tools if he is to do his work well. So, to understand more about the camera that you love makes you create more good works! You can also observe and learn from other photographers that you like or be self inspired by browsing through some magazines, manga, graphic media, music and movies.
Remembered, Shoot more! Learned more!
