My cheap cameras consisted of Smena Symbol, Canon AE1 and Olympus XA3. They come in handy especially if you have such a small camera as the Olympus XA3. It fits in your pocket perfectly making you feel like a real-life spy when you go out to shoot. You also learn from these limitations using such cameras to become an even better photographer.
It was my cousin who taught me the basics of photography. I consider her as my role model. I also picked it up easily like some other creative things. My whole family is in the arts, maybe that is also a solid reason why. I started doing street photography when I was in high school which of course adds up to the reason why I'm a photographer.
Always try to make the best out of what you got. A good photographer is a person that makes great work despite the lack of equipment. Even the greatest street photographers had only one lens when they went outside to take photos of the world/streets they saw.
